Our support and management team has extensive experience covering all areas of product and supply chain management. eCat is an interactive electronic catalog and order taking tool that replaces paper sales materials. It was designed specifically to help a home accent furnishings company equip their reps to quickly and efficiently match products to customer needs and take orders. eCat was introduced for field use in September 2010, just five months after the iPad was announced. Since then manufacturers and distributors in the furniture, lighting, gift, housewares, clothing, grocery, and other industries with outside sales teams have found eCat to be the perfect tool for supporting their sales efforts.
eCat Online is a web site service for companies that already use eCat. It enables customers and team members to browse catalogs customized to their specific needs. They can use eCat Online to check inventory, email product information, place orders, and more using any Internet connected device they prefer. Closed sites, user enrollment, and B2B shopping cart options are available for eCat Online. Because eCat Online uses already available data for the web sites, implementation is fast and maintenance requires little to no effort.
eCat Online Portal is a sales portal companion to eCat Online that provides sales teams and their customers self-serve access to detailed order status and invoice history. A dashboard shows summary sales information by territory, product, and customer with drill-down access to details. The portal service closely integrates with the eCat iPad app.
The high level of service is one of the reasons why Feiss-Monte Carlo went with SuperCat. It is no fly-by-night organization and offers the type of support we were looking for. The guys at SuperCat have years of experience and are settled professionally. They are not only true to their words, but they’ve exhibited that truth through their actions. They go above and beyond to provide support. SuperCat is top notch.Joe Belkevich, VP, Feiss Lighting/Monte Carlo Fan Company
Butler Specialty has three core values: responsiveness, integrity and great product design. SuperCat shares those core values. SuperCat is known for doing what they say they are going to do and delivers a very high level of customer service. I don’t take that for granted and neither do my customers. They also have a great product design, which is continually being improved with updates. It is important to evolve – very important.Monty Sihweil, President, Butler Specialty
SuperCat’s level of customer service is excellent. They jumped on our requests and started working on them right away. They are honest about the time frame – which is appreciated. The time scheduling and the customer service have been excellent. SuperCat’s team is easy to work with and they are incredibly responsive and accommodating.Bill Fraser, VP, Bassett Mirror Company
SuperCat’s support is amazing. The extremely high level of customer service at SuperCat has made all the difference. They are very patient and responsive to our needs. There may be slightly less expensive apps out there, but you can’t compete with this level of service. You get what you pay for!Joel Stern, VP of IT, Godinger Silver Art
Steve initiated the eCat project after watching his employer's sales reps struggle to sell home furnishings using over two tons of paper catalogs and loose sales sheets. The project was so successful SuperCat was founded in January 2011 to make eCat available to other companies. In 2014, Steve purchased his former employer's share of the company. With over 25 years experience managing product development, sourcing, logistics, purchasing, IT systems, and showroom order entry, Steve has a deep understanding of what manufacturers and distributors need. He works closely with clients to ensure that eCat meets the needs of their reps and management.
