🔀 Introducing: Option Mapping (New Feature) #

Say hello to Option Mapping, a game-changing tool that brings guided selling to life. Option Mapping lets you define smart dependencies between product options, so users only see valid choices. For example, selecting a specific wood species can now automatically filter the available stain finishes to match the chosen wood species.

Key Benefits:

  • Guided Selling: Easily steer users toward valid product configurations.
  • Fewer Errors: Block incompatible option combinations before they’re added to an order.
  • Improved User Experience: Simplify the selection process for complex products.

You can use this feature with any catalog or option set! Just keep in mind it may take a few tweaks to your current option setup to enable the linked behavior.

Smarter Multi-Org Security #

We’ve strengthened account security and permissions for users associated with multiple organizations, ensuring a smoother and more secure experience when switching between them.

  • To change a username that belongs to multiple organisations, please get in touch with SuperCat Support.

     

Longer ‘Ship To’ Codes #

The Ship To code field has been expanded from 15 to 255 characters, giving you more flexibility to include detailed location references.

Local Customer Codes in Exports #

The local_customer_code is now included in order export files, making it easier to reconcile new accounts created during busy market periods or other periods.

  • Admin Console > Orders > Orders > Download orders as CSV > Select Local Customer Code > Download CSV

Add Custom JavaScript to eCat Online #

Want to integrate tools like live chat, analytics, or custom UI enhancements? You can now add JavaScript snippets directly into your eCat Online portal. Please reach out to SuperCat Support for help with this setup.

User Group-Specific Help Text #

Admins can now add help text above the customer notes field, which is visible only to selected user groups. Perfect for internal guidance or team-specific reminders.

Scanning products in eCat is now more powerful than ever. We've improved the scanner's logic to recognize a wider range of barcode formats and product-related URLs, making product lookup faster and more versatile.

Smoother Option Filtering #

We’ve fine-tuned the option selection interface for a snappier, more responsive experience, with fewer lags and delays.

Improved File Handling & Stability #

We have resolved an issue related to opening and processing of the .stack files, leading to improved app stability and reliability.
