eCat provides three different ways to view products #

1. Quick View - for rapid product review (also called 'Grid' or ‘Catalog’ view)
2. Presentation View - for beautifully presenting products to customers.
3. Details View - for reviewing product specs, alternate photos, related items, etc.

Quick/Grid View #

eCat’s Quick View scrolls vertically for rapid review of product lines, categories, saved lists, & other groupings of products. Item numbers, price at the selected price level, inventory and other information selected by your company are shown under the photos.

Presentation View #

Change products in eCat’s Presentation View by swiping left or right on the photo or by tapping arrows on the top and bottom toolbars. Controls are subtly placed on top and bottom toolbars to ensure focus remains on the product. A single tap on the product photo hides the toolbars completely. Tap again to reveal them.

Zoom in on the photo by pinching outwards with two fingers. Pinch in to zoom in. Double tap to return to full screen photo display.

Details View #

Change products in eCat’s Details View by swiping left or right on the photo or by tapping arrows on the top and bottom toolbars.

The Details panel displays product details and inventory specific to the product being viewed.

Tap the ‘Collection’ and ‘Related’ buttons to rapidly review thumbnail photos of other products in the same ‘Family’ or ‘Collection’, components, and/or substitutable items with pricing, dimensions, or inventory information. Tap thumbnails to switch products.

Tips #

The grid view follows along with the Details and Presentation views. The last item viewed in the Details and Presentation views will always be on the top row when you return to the Quick View - so you won’t lose your place.

While you are reviewing items in the Details View collections and related items tabs, eCat holds your place in the list being viewed. So swiping the photo will take you to the next/previous item in the list.

When product thumbnails in Quick/Grid view or Order Preview are tapped, eCat shows the product in the last view used - either 'Presentation' or 'Details'. So you can select the 'single item view' that best meets your need in a given situation and that view will continue to default until you change it.
