Overview #

eCat Online allows you to save as many different named project lists as you want. You can quickly add, edit and share project lists with your customers and others.

When you're going through a catalog and considering options to design a space, eCat Online Projects can help you maintain a list of products that you can refer to later or share with your clients.

Working with Projects #

While viewing an item, if you'd like to add it to a project you can simply click the Add to Project button.

You'll see a list of existing projects you've created. You can either add the product to an existing project or create a new project.

To review the items you've already added to a project, click "My Projects" in the menu on the left, then click the project you would like to view.

Emailing Your Project List #

After you've created your project, you can email it to a customer or colleague. Simply click the Email button in the top menu. You'll need to include the recipients email address. You'll also need to include your own email address and company name so your customer will know how to get back in touch with you.

Optionally, you can also type a custom subject line and even include a message for the recipient. If you'd like to include prices in the mail, you can select which prices to include. (Note that any price customization on this screen will be included in the email even though they are not reflected in the on-screen web catalog.)

Once you're ready to send the email, just click "Send Email" to send it.

Tips and Tricks #

• If your customer does not get your email, you may wish to remind them to check their spam folder.
• In addition to using Project Emails to work with your customers, you can also use it to communicate with your colleagues or keep track of groups of products for yourself.
• Note that eCat Online projects are only available if you are logged in to eCat Online.
